About me, Please note that I am not a lawyer, never was and never want to be. My name is Pieter Calitz. I completed my studies at the University of Pretoria in Industrial Engineering and received a BEng (Bedryfs) degree from the University. Since the late 1980's I had been working for a large engineering firm in Pretoria . In 1989 I got married and we had a daughter in 1990. By that time I had a BMW and a house in Waterkloof Ridge Ext 2. In 1995 my wife filed for divorce. The 1st Rule 43 court order was made on 11 September 1995. The Court order was for more than my net salary. The Rule 43b Court Order was made on 11 October 1995. The Court order was for more than my net salary. I informed the Minister of Justice of the situation and on 20 November 1995 the Deputy Minister of Justice replied that the Director-General of Justice is looking at my case. On 19 December 1995 I received a letter from the Director-General of Justice informing me that they looked at the case and that the court said that I had my chance to state my case and that neither the Minister of Justice or the Director-General of Justice is allowed to overturn court orders. Only a court may do it. On 9 January 1996 my wife's lawyer tried to get a garnishee order against my salary, but .... I was finally sequestrated on 9 April 1996. I lost my car, my house and all my belongings. We were finally divorced on 18th March 1997. I was rehabilitated on 8 June 2004 |
